Published Hearing & Balance Research

Dr. Moises Arriaga recently published a chapter on Posterior Fossa Neoplasms in Cummings Otolaryngology: Head & Neck Surgery, seventh edition, considered the most comprehensive, multi-disciplinary text in the field.

Posterior Fossa Neoplasms are abnormal growths in the brain that may or may not be cancer. As Director of Otology – Neurotology and Professor of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery at Louisiana State University, Dr. Arriaga frequently publishes and presents his research.

As a neurotologist, Dr. Arriaga is trained as both an otologic neurosurgeon (neurotology) and head and neck surgeon. This dual specialization makes him imminently qualified to diagnose and treat conditions that affect a person’s hearing and balance. He is listed as a recognized provider by the Acoustic Neuroma Association and has been listed in the database of Best Doctors in America®.
